League Statement

Afternoon All,

The Management Committee met last night to discuss the forthcoming possible restrictions to the League programme.

We have now received notification that the football, and training will be suspended for the next four weeks, so this means that the League fixtures are suspended until at least December 5th, and training suspended until the December 2nd 2020.

The fixtures involved during this four-week lockdown, will be added to the fixture list, later in the season. Should we resume on December 5th 2020, the fixtures scheduled for that date, at present will be played.

This is an ever-changing situation, and we will review it as a Committee on Monday 30th November 2020, taking into account the situation at that time. Let’s hope the suspension is a short one.

Finally please, please do not arrange friendly games, as this will be against the Government’s rules.

Phil Platt
League Secretary
