MFL Nominated For Award

1 year ago By Simon Harrison

The Manchester Football League have been nominated for an award as part of the Manchester FA's Grassroots Awards 2017.

The Manchester FA are holding their annual celebration of the grassroots community.

The third annual awards ceremony will recognise the achievements and contributions of the dedicated and inspirational volunteers from within grassroots football in Greater Manchester.

For this year's awards, The Manchester Football League have been nominated for the 'Best Use of Social Media' along with four other nominees.

This is the first time in the League's history that they have been nominated for such an award and it arrives in a timely manner as the League celebrates it's 125th anniversary.

The nominations are in recognition to the coverage provided by each nominee throughout the 2016/17 campaign and will be a close call.

The four nominees who are also in contention for the award are: East Manchester JFL, Manchester Respect League, SFC Manchester and one of our very own member clubs, Manchester Central FC.

The Grassroots Awards 2017 will take place on Friday 10th November 2017 at The Midland Hotel in Manchester which is when the winners of all the categories will be revealed.

We wish all nominees the very best of luck and we're sure the winners will be worthy of the award.
