Ahead of the 2018/19 season, the AGM took place last week and while there are a few details still to be confirmed at a later date, The Manchester Football League can reveal the three new clubs who will be adding to the ranks ahead of the new season.
The three new additions are Astley & Tyldesley, Middleton Colts and Moorside Rangers, all who will compete in Division Two.
Astley & Tyldesley join us from the Lancashire Amateur League, Middleton Colts make the switch from the Oldham Sunday League while Moorside Rangers come over from the Lancashire and Cheshire League.
We wish all three clubs the very best and we hope you enjoy your first season with us.
Constitution for 2018/19
As briefly mentioned earlier, we cannot confirm the constitution of the divisions for the upcoming season just yet as there are a number of uncertainties.
Whilst we await the outcome of decision of Stockport Georgians' appeal on their lateral move to the Cheshire League, we have also said goodbye to a few more clubs via either promotion, choice of another league or sadly due to folding.
In light of these issues, there will be an EGM on Monday 16th July where we will be in a much stronger position to progress this information.
