League President John Hyde has a few words to say.

Hi Everyone,

We are starting to come out of lock down and I am getting the odd request to find out what MFL is doing.

Well, at the moment, not a lot!

Our AGM is to be held later this month and, at that meeting, amongst other things, we set the start date of the season, which, frankly is going to be difficult.

We cant do anything until we receive advice from the FA and our parent county, Lancashire FA.

You will all have seen on social media the current advice with regard to training etc, etc, and all I can do is reiterate that.

The virus hasn't gone away and we MUST continue to take as much care as we can.

I can appreciate that we all want to get back playing and that you will all want to be making plans, but, as I have said, we have to be guided by the governing bodies.

Please continue to keep safe, we will get there in the end and I promise that we will give you as much notice as possible as to when we will start again.
